We had a wonderful stay
The home is just as pictured and utterly delightful. Laura was incredibly communicative and even warned us about potential traffic in the area given all the necessary road repairs post-Helene. As someone who likes to cook, I truly appreciated the high quality cookware and sharp knives, neither of which are usually found at an airbnb. There were plenty of plates, bowls, silverware and cups too. The kids loved all the games and had a great time playing outside in the beautiful fall weather. It was totally quiet and peaceful which was very much needed. Would highly recommend this place as a wonderful getaway, whether you need a place due to Helene or are looking for a mountain escape. The dozen farm fresh eggs Laura left for us was icing on the cake!!

This destination experience is truly very special.Great place to get away to enjoy the silence and nature of the Deep South . The place was perfect for the 2 of us to celebrate my birthday weekend. Laura had the place set up for so many fun things for us to do, lots of games, s’mores on the awesome fire pit . we neverended up turning the TV on.. We cooked all our meals at the cabin.. Laura has the kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to cook full meals. The Hot tub and morning coffee on the porch swing is the high point of the place which we spend most of our 4 night stay there and was lucky to have a rain shower every evening as we sat under the covered porch to listen to the rain fall on the metal roof.We are definitely planning on returning here in the spring .Thank you Laura for creating such a beautiful place to share and being such a gracious host!P.S this place is also great for families and children too!Ricky VAustin TX

Great mountain cabin experience!
Exactly what we were looking for. Laura is friendly and very responsive and helpful. The cabin was cozy and comfortable with great amenities and was very clean. We loved the hot tub and hiking trails around the property. We went into Black Mountain a few times which had great restaurants and were also able to have some meals at the cabin which has a fully equipped kitchen and also gas grill. Kids loved the tent beds. Overall great experience. Highly recommend! Would definitely visit again.
