Here are the most frequently mentioned favorite features of Moonlight:

  • Privacy/Seclusion - This is mentioned in almost every review, with words like "private," "secluded," and "peaceful" appearing consistently
  • Hot Tub - Mentioned in a large number of reviews as a highlight
  • Kitchen (well-stocked/equipped) - Consistently praised for its completeness and quality
  • Porches (both front and back) - Particularly the porch swing!
  • Trail - The private hiking trail is mentioned often, particularly by families and pet owners
  • Tent Beds and games- These are consistently mentioned in reviews from families with children
  • Fire Pit
  • Games/Activities, like our scavenger hunt.

The most consistently praised overall aspects are:

  1. The sense of privacy/seclusion while still being accessible
  2. The thoughtful touches and amenities
  3. The combination of modern comfort with cabin coziness

Laura's favorites: I love hearing how much fun the kids have with the tent beds, the coloring book, scavenger hunt etc. Also, while I've found it hard to capture, so many people LOVE the walking trail. We recently were able to clear fallen trees from Helene to reopen it down to the creek. Find the "walkabout route" in the welcome binder. The upstairs loft is my favorite game-space. Lastly, the wood stove. We've fired that up a ton already this winter and just love how cozy it makes the whole space.
